Policies regarding livestock sales

Políticas sobre la venta de animales de granja

We do not sell live animals clients without prior arrangement. All sales of pigs and lambs must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance; sales of live poultry must be arranged at least one day in advance. Under no circumstances will we sell livestock to people who arrive on our farm without prior arrangement. For legal reasons, we will not slaughter large livestock (pigs, lambs, etc.) for clients. For liability reasons, we do not allow clients to kill or butcher livestock on our property; please click here if you would like a longer explanation of our reasons. All on-farm slaughter and butchery of mammals must be done by an independent butcher who carries liability insurance. All on-farm slaughter of poultry is conducted under federal exemption and must be arranged in advance. There is no same-day service for poultry butchery. No vendemos animales vivos a clientes sin previo acuerdo. Farm Stand Hours: Saturday 10AM-4 PM, Sunday 12PM-4PM; by appointment only at all other times. 

Although we usually work remotely for our jobs, just because we are home does not mean we are available. If we are in meetings we can't come out to attend to customers. Please make an appointment ahead of time if you would like service outside of our drop-in hours.
