Whole chicken hearts. Prepare like gizzards (simmer till tender, dredge in seasoned flour, and fry) for a great snack. Also a wonderful treat for your favorite furry friend.
 
NOTE: Our processor charges to return the giblets (heart, liver, and gizzard) from a chicken, which are on average 2-3 ounces per bird; we therefore charge the same price per lb for giblets just to cover their cost. We are not insane; in fact, WE DO NOT MAKE A PROFIT FROM GIBLETS AT ALL, and offer them as a convenience to our customers who appreciate these parts. Packs of hearts are usually about a 0.5 lb each.
